** Fun Swim - For members and their children. Both ends of pool open,
half for lengths, half for play and diving. Teach pool not currently available. Fun
Swim unavailable on holiday weekends, during special events and during
exam periods. Teach Pool available M, W, F 12:10 -1:30 p.m. in summer
months due to summer camps.

Swimming with children is available during the Fun Swims only. Adult
must accompany children. There is a max of 3 children per adult, at least
1 of the 3 must have completed the deep end test: jump in 25m swim,
tread 1 minute. Children who have not completed the test must stay
within arms reach of the caregiver.

*** Community Swim for non-members and their children. Both ends
of pool open, half for lengths, half for play and diving. Teach pool not currently
available. Community Swim unavailable on holiday weekends, during
special events, during exam periods, and in July and August.

Changes or Cancellations - updated Jan. 29, 2008

Tues. Feb. 19	12:10 – 4pm swims moved to the 25yd pool due to a swim meet.
Sun. Mar. 2	Community and Fun Swims cancelled due to a swim meet. A recreational swim for adult members will be held in the 25 yd pool from 12:10 – 3pm.
Fri. Mar. 21	All swims are cancelled, the building is closed for Good Friday.
Sun. Mar. 23	Community and Fun Swims cancelled due to the holiday weekend. A recreational swim for adult members will be held in the 25 yd pool from 12:10 – 3pm.
Sun. Apr. 6	This is the last Community and Fun Swim due to events, exams and holiday schedules. The next Community / Fun swim will be held Sun May 25, 2008.
Teach Pool availability Please note that the Teach Pool will be closed until further notice. It will not be available during recreational swim times including fun and community swims. We do apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause you or your families and we do hope to have this situation resolved in the near future. Thanks you for your understanding, Pool Staff
Interim Schedule goes into effect Sun April  11– Sun May 11, 2008.

Any changes or cancellations to the recreational swim schedule will be posted in advance on the Open Recreation bulletin boards by the turnstiles on the main floor.  Holiday and maintenance schedules will be posted on the web. Please watch for updates.

Privacy/Family Change Rooms
Available for children who are not accompanied by a parent of the same gender, or people who prefer a private changing area. Space is limited, and bathing attire is required for the open showers. There are a small number of day lockers available.

Accessibility
All swim courses and programs are accessible. The change rooms are fully accessible via the elevator. The change room enters directly onto the 50m pool deck, which is equipped with a lift for the mobility impaired. The 25yd pool is accessible by elevator, and now has a lift and accessible washrooms nearby.

Diving
Springboard diving is permitted in the 50m pool only (on the 1m board and 3m board) during the Sunday Fun Swim and during the Fun Swims.

Swimming with Children
Adults must accompany children. There is a maximum of three children per adult, and at least one child of the three must have completed the deep end swim test.  Children who have not completed this test MUST remain within arm’s reach of the caregiver.

Women’s Swim Time
Recreational swimming for women is available in the 25yd pool.  Access from the change room to the pool is through public (co-ed) space.  Please dress comfortably.
