The Centre for Leadership Training and Education (CLTE)

The Centre for Leadership Training and Education (CLTE) provides leadership services in a physical activity and health education context.

Our focus is to strengthen the knowledge and skills of staff and students related to leadership in sport, recreation, and physical activity.

• Training to casual staff and students involved in the delivery of programs and services in the Faculty, as well as to volunteers involved in Faculty governance.
  
  
• Planning and coordination to support the Faculty's Outreach educational events, such as conferences, clinics, and seminars, such that the community may benefit from the latest research of our faculty members.
  
  
• Coordination of the leadership placements for 3rd and 4th year students within their BPHE academic program. These placements provide the opportunity for PHE students to learn about the work and world of careers and to contribute to our field.
