Fees
Academic and Incidental Fees
Academic fees include required and specified optional courses in the Faculty and other divisions of the University. Incidental fees include campus services and students society fees. Approved tuition fee schedules for the current academic session are available at the Student Accounts web site.
Tuition Invoices and Registration
Tuition invoices are not mailed to students. Instead students at the University of Toronto can view and print their tuition and/or residence fee invoice using their ROSI account. To generate a tuition invoice log into ROSI, click on 'Financial Accounts' and then click on 'Click here for Invoice Format'.
Payment
It is advisable for student to pay their fees as soon as possible. Students who pay their fees late will run the risk of being removed from their Arts and Science and FPEH course requests. Students who pay their fees after the published deadline must present proof of minimum fee payment to the FPEH Undergraduate Program Office to be fully registered in their courses.
Tuition Deferrals
OSAP eligible students can request tuition fee deferrals online via the ROSI system. Log in to ROSI and go to the 'Financial Accounts' section and follow the instructions under the
"OSAP/Government Financial Aid Tuition Fee Deferral" heading. To be eligible for deferral the student must be eligible for OSAP or other government student aid, have selected courses for the session of the deferral and they must not owe tuition fees from a previous session(s). For more information about applying for OSAP please visit the Financial Aid section of this web site.
Registered Status
To be fully registered for any academic session the student must pay at least the minimum first installment or defer their tuition fees. Once the student has paid their fees (minimum payment or deferment) ROSI will automatically change their status from 'invite' (INVIT) to 'registered' (REG) within seven business days of the payment. Failure to pay the minimum payment or arrange deferment of fees by the published deadlines will result in cancellation of enrolment in all courses..
Student Society Fee Rebates
Certain portions of student society fees charged to students are refundable within designated time periods. In the case of medical plans, students must be able to prove that they have alternate coverage to opt out. Rebates for FPEH undergraduate students are administered by the following student societies based on their registration status:
Full time students: University of Toronto Students Union (UTSU)
Part time students: Association of Part-time Undergraduate Students (APUS)
Full details about rebates are available at the Students Account web site.
