Information for Admitted Students

If you have decided to accept your BPHE or BPHE/CTEP offer from the University of Toronto we encourage you to attend the Welcome and Information Session on Thursday June 26, 2008 at the Faculty. For a map and address information please visit the Contacts section of the website.

10 Easy Steps to Registration

Follow the steps below to successfully register as a BPHE or BPHE/CTEP student:

1. Accept your offer of Admission on-line, before your offer expires.

  • See the "Instructions for Responding to the Offer" page in your admission package.  Places in our program cannot be guaranteed after the deadline for accepting your offer.

2. E-mail undergrad.peh@utoronto.ca immediately to confirm your attendance at the Faculty's Welcome and Enrolment Information Session for newly admitted students - Thurs., June 26, 1-4p.m.

3. Apply for OSAP on-line at http://osap.gov.on.ca as soon as you have accepted your offer of admission.

  • Also apply for the “Queen Elizabeth II Aiming for the Top Scholarship” at the same website, if you qualify.  Deadline - June 20.
  • Tuition invoices will be mailed to your home in late July.  As a guide, last year's fees for "Domestic students" were $5,449.36 and $19,325.36 for International students.  For CTEP the cost was ~$300 more for both domestic and international students. These might increase slightly to cover increased tuition/ancillary fees.

4. Attend the Welcome and Information Session, June 26, 2008, 1-4p.m. (Meet at the main floor lobby)*

  • Obtain your Enrolment and Registration Information package, including instructions for course selection and registration. You can obtain your TCard (student ID card) on this day – see the "Head Start" page in your admission offer package.  
  • Remember to bring with you a valid photo identification (i.e. driver’s licence/ passport) and your offer of admission.

5. Pay your Camp fees to reserve a place for the required Year I Outdoor Project.

  • Cost: $250. First date to pay – June 26, Last date to pay - August 15.   Pay by VISA/MC/AMEX, Interac or cash.
  • Camp dates: August 25-28.  Further details will be available in the Enrolment and Registration Information Package.

6. Enrol in 'PHE' & 'PAC' courses on ROSI beginning July 8th, 2008.

  • ROSI is the University of Toronto student records system – ww.rosi.utoronto.ca.
  • Your Enrolment and Registration Information Package, available in June, will provide full details on enrolment procedures. Information will also be provided on the Current Students section of the website.

7. Enrol in Arts and Science options beginning August 13th, 2008. 

  • An Arts and Science Calendar and Timetable will be provided.

8. Pay at least the first instalment of your tuition fees by Aug. 30 or have your fees deferred, if you will be receiving OSAP.   See Item 3 above for details about applying for OSAP.  Fees can be deferred at the FPEH Undergraduate Office.

*9. If you live outside the province of Ontario and cannot attend a Welcome and Information Session

  • Please contact us at undergrad.peh@utoronto.ca to make arrangements for receiving your Enrolment and Registration Information package. 
  • Assistance with choosing and enrolling in your courses will be available via e-mail and/or telephone.

*The Arts and Science Calendar cannot be mailed because of its size.  Please view it, and the 2008-09 Handbook which contains the timetable for Arts and Science online.
