The 11th Annual Bertha Rosenstadt National Undergraduate Research Conference in Physical Education and Kinesiology

Registration & Abstract Deadline: March 8, 2010

Scope

Undergraduate students may present literature reviews, critiques, term papers, findings from research projects or work in-progress. This is a multidisciplinary conference that includes topics from exercise physiology, biomechanics, sports medicine, motor learning and control, exercise and sport psychology, philosophy, history and sport sociology. Students submit an abstract and are given 15 minutes to present their papers to peers and faculty.

Keynote Presentation

"The Intersection of Physical Activity & Health: Research Career Opportunities"
Speaker: Dr. Ira Jacobs, Dip.P.E., M.H.K., D.Med.Sci.

Registration

The registration cost is $30. This includes a copy of the conference proceedings, reception, lunch, and light refreshments throughout the conference. The registration deadline for conference presenters is March. 8, 2010. The registration form is available online at the following link: NURSC Registration Form 2010

Abstract Submission

Presenters should send their abstract in MS Word format to undergrad.peh@utoronto.ca by March 8, 2010. APA style is recommended for the abstract. Abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings.

History

For the past ten years, the Faculty of Physical Education and Health at the University of Toronto has hosted an Undergraduate Student Research Conference for kinesiology and physical education students.
