Application Deadline
- The application deadline is February 1 at 4 p.m. for both the MSc and PhD degree programs in Exercise Sciences.
- No late applications will be accepted and incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
- It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure all information and documentation is both correct and complete.
Application Instructions
- Applications for the September 2008 session will be available online October 1, 2007.
- Submit your application to the School of Graduate Studies (SGS) through the secure online admissions application. Read all instructions carefully!
- Pay your application fee. This can be done online or by mailing your payment to SGS. Detailed instructions about payment are on the online application.
It is your responsibility to check the online system frequently to verify that the documents have been received. We will consider your application only after you have entered your personal and academic information in the online application, submitted the application fee and mailed a complete application package to the department.
A Complete Application package includes:- Printout of Online Application
- One copy of official and original transcripts in sealed envelopes
- Two letters of reference
- One- to two-page Statement of Intent
- Updated curriculum vitae
- Two samples of scholarly writing
- Proof of English Language facility (if applicable)
- Funding for International applicants (if applicable)
- Applications for the graduate special student program are due August 1 for September courses and November 15 for January courses. Reference letters are not required. Please note that the application deadlines for the graduate special student program are not the same as the deadlines for the undergraduate special student program. A Complete Graduate Special Student Application package includes:
- Printout of Online Application Information
- One copy of official and original transcripts for all post-secondary insitutions in sealed envelopes
- Brief Statement of Intent stating the reason(s) for application and the courses you intend to take if accepted
