The Strength and Conditioning Centre (SCC) has a selection of Hammer Strength machines, free weights, barbells and dumbbells for all members to use. Strength and conditioning specialists are on-site and available at all times to assist you with your use of the equipment.

academic classes.The Strength and Conditioning Centre (SCC) has a selection of Hammer Strength machines, free weights, barbells and dumbbells for all members to use. Strength and conditioning specialists are on-site and available at all times to assist you with your use of the equipment.

Women Only Hours
We have dedicated hours for women only.  This is in response to requests by members who are just learning to use the equipment and for those, who for religious and/or personal reasons, require women only hours.

SCC Orientation:  FREE (Registration Required)
This 20-30 minute orientation program to the SCC will familiarize beginners to the strength training facility. The orientations are free to all AC members. Please register at the Main Office. Participants must wear comfortable workout clothes and proper shoes. Punctuality is essential, as classes will begin promptly.

Additional exercise machines
There are Hammer Strength, Universal and weight training machines, computerized cycles, stair climbers and rowing machines located in the Field House on the third floor of the AC.
