Lockers

Are there free lockers in the AC?
Athletic Centre members have access to two kinds of lockers: day lockers and rented lockers. Day lockers are labeled, full-sized and only for use during the day. All day lockers are free of charge and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Day locker locks and locker contents must be removed by facility closing time every day.

How do I rent a locker?
Students may rent lockers from the Main Office for $50 for the fall/winter term (Sept. 6, 2007 to May 9, 2008).

For the spring/summer term, student lockers are $25 for the entire term (May 13 to Aug.22, 2008, locker sales begin May 16). Student locker fees are pro-rated daily – the further into the season, the less a locker rental will cost to a minimum of $6.25.

For non-student members, rental lockers are available for $6.25 per month or $75 per year. Locker rentals are sold for the duration of a membership. Please note there is one standard price for lockers, regardless of size. Lockers are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Do you supply locks?
No.  All members must supply their own locks.

When do I have to clear out my locker?
Students must clear out their lockers by May 11, 2007 (fall/winter) or Aug. 24, 2007 (spring/summer). All rental lockers must be cleared out by the expiry date.

What if I don’t clear out my locker?
  • Contents will be removed from day lockers at facility closing time, expired rental lockers, and inappropriately occupied lockers.
  • A $25 handling and storage fee is required to reclaim your belongings once they are removed.
  • Belongings will not be held beyond 30 days.
  • The university is not liable for lost or stolen locker contents or for contents left after the expiration date.
  • Locks and contents will be removed from any inappropriately occupied rental locker.
